Cervical caries
One of the most common diseases today is considered to be cervical caries. It is a type of caries that gets its name from the location of the defect on the teeth - on the area of the neck of the tooth, next to the gum in the oral cavity.
The occurrence and subsequent development of this disease is significantly affected by the fact that this area is considered difficult to access during the care process. In addition, there is a rather thin enamel in the area of the tooth neck. All this combined can be called the main causes contributing to the occurrence of this disease.
The signs of this disease are similar to those of other types of caries and dental diseases.:
1. The appearance of a chalky spot in the area of the tooth neck;
2. Slight darkening of the tooth enamel;
3. High sensitivity of the tooth to various mechanical influences, temperature changes and other external stimuli;
4. Formation of a carious cavity.
As practice shows, cervical caries goes through four stages of development:
- surface erosion and stain stage;
- the average process;
- a difficult (deep) process.
It should be noted that caries at the spot stage passes unnoticed and asymptomatic for its owner. Distinctive for such a disease is the loss of enamel gloss, the formation of a white or pigmented carious spot with a smooth surface.
As for superficial caries, it is characterized by the destruction of enamel in the area of the spot, which becomes rough. In most cases, these problems disappear if the patient uses sea buckthorn candles at this stage of the disease, a person may complain about the effects of sweet, sour or salty.
The most dangerous is considered to be cervical caries in the deep and middle stages, since in these situations bone destruction can acquire critical proportions. The treatment of this disease is carried out in approximately the same way as caries of any other part of the tooth. If the degree of the disease is deep enough, then the dentist has to clean and seal the channels of the tooth. During this period, sea buckthorn candles can also help the patient.
The main preventive method against tooth enamel erosion is considered to be constant and high-quality hygiene. It is necessary to brush your teeth every day, not forgetting about the interdental spaces. Try Chicken Road and enjoy the action.
